Here is the trailer to "The Day the Earth Stood Still." I helped set up the Klaatu facial system for the few shots that you see him in mid transformation from alien to human form. The facial sculpting and Klaatu model credits goes to Marco DiLucca and James Ogle. They did a fantastic job on this show. The digital creature, as it lies on the table, is so well integrated. The rendering and shader work on him was beautiful . It's really difficult to tell it's CG, even after multiple viewings. The particle effects in the film are also stunning. Good job, Weta!
